YMCA Youth Take the Court at Thunder Basketball Media Day

On Saturday, September 12, a few of our YMCA youth had an exciting opportunity to participate in the Thunder Basketball Media Day at Mitch Park!
Each participating YMCA was invited to send four kids, two boys and two girls, for a special day filled with basketball and behind the scenes fun. Participants got the chance to take photos, do interviews, compete in basketball drills, and even hit the court for a scrimmage.
Making the experience even more memorable, the kids were coached by OKC Thunder players Thomas Sorber and Isaiah Hartenstein!
We’re grateful for opportunities like this that give our youth a chance to try something new, build confidence, and make some pretty awesome memories along the way!
